KTIS is a free statewide telephone
service which provides information (accurate, evidence based)
to patients and the health care professionals about exposures
to teratogens during pregnancy and lactation. It provides
information regarding prescription and non-prescription medications,
street drugs, infectious diseases and physical agents which
could be harmful to an unborn child. |

is coordinated by a pediatrician/genetic counselor/ teratogen
information specialist and directed by a qualified geneticist.
The staff is specially trained to interpret clinical information
and analyze current literature regarding potential teratogen. |
