anaesthetics to babies and small children is not the same
as anaesthetizing adults. Special training, techniques, vigilance,
equipment and approach are required. So our anaesthesiologists
provide exceptional patient care comparable to anaesthesia
facilities available anywhere in the world. |

Operating rooms are equipped with the most advanced equipment
and monitoring facilities, exclusively designed for surgery
of children from all age groups. In collaboration with the
other departments in our hospital, our
dedicated paediatric anaesthesiologists provide safe anaesthesia
for challenging surgical procedures in children. Our anaesthesiologists
not only comfort patients, but also equally anxious parents,
grandparents and a host of relatives. So we have a specially
designed and equipped induction room to allow parents to be
present by the side of the child till the child goes to sleep.
Every child is seen by our anaesthesiologist before the surgery
and the appropriate anaesthetic technique is planned for the
child. |

| Post-operative
Care |
| Our
anaesthesiologists not only take care of the child before
and during the surgery but also make the child pain free during
the post-operative period. The technique of anaesthesia and
method of post-operative pain relief is discussed with the
parents to make them aware of what's going on and to instill
confidence in them. |
